A Journey to the Unknown

Sometimes, your road to Damascus can seem wide and logical (and tempting at that) to your naked eye. It’s a road that is the fastest and most “safe” to choose. But many times, I’ve discovered that God will ask you to take the narrow road that looks “iffy” and “questionable”. The road that has thorn bushes, cob webs and even massive roots growing out from the ground that might attempt to trip you along your journey. Why you might ask? What’s the point of all this? Doesn’t God want good for me? The answer to your question is absolutely, but His way of doing heart surgery on you is a bit different than you would have hoped. See, the closer you grow to know the Lord, the more you begin to entrust all of your questionable opinions and surrender any types of fear that come along your path. Im talking about your life, your very own path…

God once CLEARLY, AND BOLDLY told me 5 years ago …”Stop asking me why, your hearts been asking why way too long…understand that THIS is the path that I have chosen for you.”

Maybe God is asking you to give up your comfortable job, with your reliable pay check and go to the nations of this world to proclaim His good news. Or maybe He is asking you to surrender that relationship that has you so tied up that it’s left no room for Jesus. Can I just encourage you with this? You hear His voice! Now, will you obey? Hmm, that’s a bit more challenging isn’t it? See, in order for your life to produce it’s very purpose, you must give it back to the One who gave it to you in the first place.

Jesus wants you. He doesn’t want to share you with a friend, or be on the back burner when ever you have a few extra minutes in your day for Him. Don’t get me wrong. Yes, He loves you with an unshakable love (even when you do these things), but the maturity of your spiritual growth will increase when you begin to deny the things that take you away from Him. Deny yourself and follow ME -JESUS.

Guys, I can’t begin to tell you the joy that I carry since I said yes to a calling that He’s placed on my life. Now listen. The true identity of you is found in HIM, and the true purpose for your life is also found IN HIM!!!

Don’t wait to live out your calling when you’ve marked off your entire bucket list. Make Him and His desires your bucket list!

Jesus’ Bucket List:

  1. Love the least of these
  2. Bring freedom to every nation
  3. Trump darkness
  4. Make disciples
  5. Prepare My bride…………………………………..

I pray that this has touched your heart like it’s touched mine writing this post. I pray that you would burn for the things of God, rather than the things of man. He is so worthy… For every breathe, He is worthy. I love you dear friend. May your light shine brighter than it has ever shone before in Jesus name.

I have some awesome updates for all of you who have been praying and sowing into our vehicle and launch fund..our family was able to purchase a 200 Series Toyota Land Cruiser a week ago, praise God! It’s in the process of being shipped to our destination.

As soon as we purchased our vehicle, we immediately applied for our work permits and submitted all necessary documents to the Zambian government. Currently we are waiting on their approval response to our permits so once we get that (hopefully no more than a week or two) we can purchase our airline tickets to Zambia!

To those of you who would like to continue sowing towards our launch fund(which includes our flights) I’ll post info below on how you can do that. (All funds are tax deductible and go directly to Andrey and I if you provide our name and staff code in donation memo.)

Thank you friends once again, we love you!
