Meet our precious Zoe Belle,,,isn’t the Lord amazing? As I gaze at her, I am reminded constantly of the Lords faithfulness. That His promises are Yes and Amen. That children are our greatest blessing here on earth and that it’s the only inheritance that we can take into eternity!
Zoe was born July 27th at 1:50pm weighing 6 pounds, 8 ounces and 19.5 inches long. Due to the business that a newborn brings, along with homeschooling our children, I just now am managing to update all of our amazing team about our sweet girls arrival if you haven’t already seen on my insta stories. Zoe is doing great, gaining weight, and sleeping pretty decent I’d say. Thank you for all of you who have been so kind and dropped by to meet her in person, or sent us delivery meals…they have been so helpful. I keep having to remind myself to eat and drink water. Im recovering well for the most part and feel so incredibly blessed with all that God’s entrusted me with. Last month was quite eventful (when is our life not eventful right? I feel like every newsletter that I send out, I end up saying it)…And last month sort of flowed right into an extra long month because it seems to me like day and night have been blurred together in some way (I blame this on the lack of sleep). 🙂
This past month was filled with appointments, deliveries, and precious moments spent with our family of seven. Now, August is here. We had the honor of attending our friends wedding and witnessing a family born and that will run harder after Jesus and His Kingdom together. Congrats Boris & Yana! Also, on Tuesday the 18th, I dropped Andrey and my brothers off at the JAX airport. A whole team is flying to Alaska to help finish my brothers home and minister at the local churches there. Ya’ll, our brother Zheka and his wife Alyona are radical lovers of Jesus and sold out for doing His will here on earth. They officially move to Alaska next month with their family. They are being obedient and following the leading of the Holy Spirit. Would you all please keep them in your prayers? May the move be smooth, stress free, and may all their financial needs be met in Jesus name! If you have it on your heart to bless them, reach out to me personally and I can help arrange a way or find them on cash app ($YougeneChenkov). They are doing amazing things for the Lord and we as a body get the privilege of partaking in it.
Back home in Chipata, the rest of our EP (eastern province) team is getting ready to head back to the states. Kyle is already in Texas as he’s getting married in November! Rachel and Dalton, plus little bud Elliot are on their way over as we speak. And finally Tessa will be leaving next month! We are blessed with responsible and trusted friends to hold down our forts as we spend our state-side time here. Aston and Sekelani (our Zambian local team) are continuing the ministry in Chipata as well as taking out our ministry partner George into Chanje almost every week to keep ministering to our group of disciples. Tessa is still meeting and having discipleship at her home, Praise God that the work is continuing there in Zambia as well as here in the states. That’s our goal, to have a sustained group of people locally that love the Lord, love the move of the Holy Spirit, are on fire to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, and who will continue to make disciples throughout Zambia and to the ends of the earth. We are getting excited about our return to Chipata in January 2021!
When your sitting across an old friend, or a complete stranger that you had just met at a coffee shop in order to share Jesus’ heart…It’s no different from someone in Africa or Asia doing the same. I know some of us go through different seasons where we are raising little humans at home, traveling a lot for work, or even in full-time ministry…we need to remember that the enemies tactic is to find your weak-link (whether its guilt, comparison, or lusts of the flesh) in order to tire you out, fill you with fear and all these other things you begin to “feel” when you start to renew and agree with negative/toxic thoughts. Let me encourage you mamas, hard-working dads, and go-getters…you have the right…no, you have the responsibility to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ! So as you encounter people each day, you have an opportunity to share the good news- the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Today, many people walk in fear. They suffer from anxiety and what will happen tomorrow. What will become of their children… the Bride of Christ must rise up and shine like ever before! Let’s show the world the love of Christ that brings hope, healing, and joy!!!
Dearest friends and partners, thank you for your commitment and support to our family. We love you all, and continue to pray that your families never lack a thing. You know, in the Word apostle paul mentions the importance of being content in riches and in poverty. We practice this daily and I think it’s such an important part of our walk with the Lord. Seeking His face, His leading and direction…being obedient. It brings forth growth. We are so grateful for each and everyone of you who sow into the Kingdom. It’s because of your obedience that people can take the gospel to the nations!!
