ENCOURAGMENT & A WORD FROM THE HEART: There’s a place you can go where the cares of this world cease to exist. The place where you find yourself weak & vulnerable, yet strengthened. Alone, but safe. Still, yet productive- accomplishing kingdom matters. The Bible mentions this countless times: Psalm 91 is one of many places in scripture that emphasizes the benefits to abiding in that place of secret with the Lord. “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust Him..” It’s a beautiful chapter describing the care that God as the Father shows to His children.

This is a vital part of EVERY believer on the face of this earth until the day we stand before the face of Jesus. We MUST continually dwell in this place of secret where we can weep, laugh, and be still before the Lord as He washes over us and speaks to our hearts. When we grown still before the Lord, our ears become TUNED to His voice and we begin to hear Him more clearly. The church has to live in that place of “hearing” and “obeying” in order to bring “as it is in heaven” down to reality-the earth we live in today. FRIENDS, LETS GET IN THE SECRET PLACE.

Since our most recent newsletter, our family has had quite the travel journey around the southern part of Africa. Starting from Zambia down to Zimbabwe, then South Africa and finally into Mozambique. Our destination was to one of our bases in Inhambane, Mozambique. We spent a week retreating with our OM family where we had meetings, relaxed, encouraged, and shared strategic ways of reaching the lost in our areas and laying on the beach in the sun. After an amazing and refreshing week, we made the 5 day journey back (which took longer that 5 days) and on the way, I get a message that my sister is getting married and the engagement will be quite short. Andrey dropped me and Zoe off at the airport in Lusaka, Zambia and off we flew to the states to celebrate and witness 2 families come together. In those short few weeks we were there, I was so glad that I could see some dear friends and visit our home church where I was able to share a short testimony of the ministry that happens in Chipata. Zoe and I stayed for just under 2 weeks and returned back home to Zambia to reunite with our family and continue the work.
