Dear Partners,
I want to first start off by saying how incredibly important and impactful your part in the Kingdom really is, and that it’s not only serving our family, but the nations of the earth! As we step into mid February, I can’t help but begin to feel butterflies in my stomach from what’s about to take place. As you all know, we are 100% funded on a monthly basis (Praise the Lord!!!) You all took part in making this happen so we thank you for standing by us in these past several months! Currently we are believing the Lord for all funds towards our airfare and vehicle to accumulate in the next week.
We are asking for your help in reaching our goal of $30,000 in order to purchase our airfare and vehicle (currently have $15,000). [Our desire and purpose is for our family to get on the mission field as soon as possible (considering that you all support us for that specific purpose) and to be productive so that we can begin to minister and serve in the country of Zambia.]
Our options are quite limited due to the size of our family as well as access to necessary parts and maintenance in Zambia. The best option is importing a used Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series from Japan due to its known ability to handle and withstand the rough African terrain. This specific vehicle will provide the reliability, dependability, security, and even comfort on the African rural roads reaching the most remote places where the gospel of Jesus Christ hasn’t yet been introduced. Towing companies and parts are non-existent there (outside of large cities), so breakdowns usually result in a recovery time of days instead of minutes or hours. We look forward to avoiding these situations as much as possible, hence the dependable vehicle choice. We also know our God takes care of us and supplies all needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus! (Phil. 4:19)
In saying that, we want to make an emphasis on how much we need YOU, The body of Christ and our partners(not in crime but in the Kingdom:).We ask you to pray and consider if God is wanting you to partner with us in this project. Stand with us so that we can accomplish that which God has called us to do- TO GO to the ends of the earth preaching the Kingdom of God(which is at hand)!
