More than enough…

Today was a complete mix of emotions. From a morning starting off with an hour of sleep, yet heading to the airport in extreme excitement with a mix of butterflies then to crying on the shoulders of my sisters and brothers as we said our final goodbyes at the security check point. Honestly, It’s never hit me what we give up when going long-term onto the field until a few days ago. It’s not in any way some kind of pity party I’m drawing for you, but rather the treasure that you have around you that seems to be take for granted constantly.

This past week or two, Andrey and I have spent more time with our families and it’s been wonderful. Our families are very close and we are in constant fellowship either on a random week day or on a Sunday after church service. We are there for one another when times are tough and in times of extreme joy. I pray that you have such relationships as these because it’s like a slice of heaven on earth:)

As we embark this new season of our life, I can’t help but have such gratefulness towards all of you who have reached out and shared kind words, blessings and support towards our family. I’ll tell you what, we are in no way hero’s or something of special. We are merely children who adore their Heavenly Papa, lovers of our Lord Jesus Christ, and obedient to the Holy Spirit. You can’t be in love and not show your love. When you fall in love with your spouse for the first time, remember all the hoops you would jump through to spend even 5 minutes with them, or drive 20 miles out of the way because she wanted a starbucks latte. If you love, you will do what pleases the one you love.

As my family and I wait for our next boarding flight, I want to simply express our appreciation to all of our readers. May your growth in the Lord just set fire and your priorities align to His priorities. Those who are led by the Spirit are called sons and daughters. We are sons and daughters!! Wow! That never gets old to me.

Dear friends, be blessed today. And as you lay in bed tonight…ask Jesus what He would like for you to do and just wait and listen…He will respond. The most rewarding thing in life is being right where He wants you to be.

The center of His will…:)

Until next time,

The Gorlachev’s
